In-demand Saint-Etienne starlet Kurt Zouma has spoken about interest from Chelsea and admitted that when Jose Mourinho comes calling it "does something to you".
The 18-year-old is at the centre of a rapidly unfolding summer transfer saga, with his agent having confirmed suitors such as Manchester United, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, as well as Europa League holders Chelsea.
It is thought that Les Verts will reluctantly part with Zouma for a sum of €10m – an amount well within reach for Chelsea.
And, talking from the Under-20 World Cup, where he is appearing for France, Zouma addressed Chelsea’s interest specifically.

"When you hear about interest coming from Chelsea and a great coach like Mourinho, it does something to you", Zouma told reporters.
"It makes you happy and it also means that you’re going in the right direction."
However, Zouma insists he will not become too distracted with the transfer talk spreading and with him at its centre.
"I’m keeping calm and I’m not becoming too involved in all the rumours. I’m focusing on the Under-20 World Cup with France."
The 18-year-old made 18 appearances for Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1 last season.
