Chelsea youngster Thorgan Hazard has been given an additional option to Anderlecht as a future destination, with Jupiler League rivals Racing Genk joining the list that of clubs that are hoping for the Belgian’s signature, according to RTBF.

Thorgan Hazard, brother of Chelsea starlet Eden, has been plying his trade with Belgian side Zulte Waregem, but has caught the eye of bigger clubs in the league.

Anderlecht are understood to be keen on the 20-year-old, who churned out 34 Jupiler League appearances this season.

And Racing Genk, who finished third in the table last season, are in the market for the winger who is priced at a reported €1.5m.

He is currently on loan from Chelsea themselves, with a contract that runs until 2016, but has only made one appearance in Blue, in an Under-21 Premier League game against Manchester City.

Whilst 32-time league winners Anderlecht could arguably be considered favourites for Thorgan Hazard, the club are only looking at an initial loan spell for him.

It remains to be seen if Racing Genk can trump that offer with a permanent purchase for the midfielder, who has also made one national team appearance.

Lower down, Thorgan Hazard has been capped 23 times by Belgium’s Under-19 side, with participation in the 2011 European Under-19 Championship.

The Hazard family received further good news this week, when it was revealed that Kylian Hazard had signed for Royal White Star Brussels in Belgium’s second division.
