Carlo Ancelotti has been confirmed as the new manager of Real Madrid on a three-year deal.

While it had been an open secret that Ancelotti wanted to manage Los Blancos, Paris Saint-Germain had been reluctant to let the Italian go unless they found a successor.

However, with Laurent Blanc’s move to the Parc des Princes also complete, Ancelotti has been allowed to move away from Paris.

The Ligue 1-winning coach will be presented to the media tomorrow, as a replacement for Jose Mourinho, who left for a second stint with Chelsea this summer.
