Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is keen for his side to buy a satellite club in England and has set his sights on Leyton Orient.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, De Laurentiis has been impressed with Udinese’s relationship with Championship side Watford; both clubs are owned by the Pozzo family.



Now De Laurentiis feels that Napoli could benefit from a similar arrangement and the Azzurri supremo is considering launching a takeover bid for Leyton Orient.

Orient currently play in England’s third tier, League One.

Last season they finished seventh in League One and looked serious promotion contenders at points in the campaign.

De Laurentiis witnessed how Udinese secured valuable experience for their youngsters with loan deals to Watford and how the club almost won promotion to the Premier League.
