Pep Guardiola took his first training session as Bayern Munich coach yesterday – and saw 10,000 fans turn up to watch.
The former Barcelona manager was presented at the Allianz Arena earlier this week, on a three-year contract to succeed Jupp Heynckes.
Heynckes led the Bavarians to success in the Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League last season, a feat Guardiola will find tough to top.
But the Spaniard has been boosted by the overwhelming support of the club’s fans.

Indeed, 10,000 turned up, each paying €5 to watch Guardiola put the Bayern Munich squad through their paces.
Missing from training were Arjen Robben, Bastian Schweinsteiger and new boy Mario Gotze.
