English Premier League giants Chelsea and La Liga outfit Sevilla have reached an agreement for a season-long loan spell for German schemer Marko Marin, subject to the completion of legal documentation and a medical, the London giants have announced.
The 24-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer from Werder Bremen. He clocked up just six appearances in the English top flight last season, scoring and assisting once.
He made his Premier League debut in November against Fulham at Stamford Bridge, replacing Belgian attacking midfielder Eden Hazard in the 82nd minute of the match.
In February, he scored his one and only goal in the English top flight at the death, against Wigan Athletic, in Chelsea’s 4-1 win.

Marin’s contract with the Blues runs until June 2017.
Meanwhile, Sevilla, who lost 27-year-old winger Jesus Navas to Manchester City this summer, finished ninth in the Spanish top flight last season.
They will however start their campaign from the third qualifying round in the Europa League in the upcoming season, following the exclusions of sixth-placed Malaga and eighth-placed Rayo Vallecano from participating in any European competition next season.
