Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell, who is presently on loan at Real Betis from Arsenal, believes that he will play for the Premier League outfit when ‘God wills it is time.’
The 21-year-old striker joined Arsenal from Costa Rican club Deportivo Saprissa in 2011, but a week later it was revealed that he had failed to obtain a work permit to enable him to play in England.
He was subsequently loaned out to French outfit Lorient and in the following year was loaned to La Liga club Real Betis.
On 10th April 2013, it was announced that his loan spell with Betis is due to be extended up to 2014, despite interest from English clubs Crystal Palace and West Ham United.

Campbell is enjoying his time at Betis and feels that it is a learning curve for him.
He told Costa Rican daily Al Dia, "Right now I’m enjoying my football. When God wills it is time I will be playing at Arsenal. I’m very calm as I‘m only 20 years old and I’m still gaining experience.”
The striker also believes that the Premier League is more competitive than La Liga, as there are more teams vying to be champions.
On being asked about his goal drought in recent games, Campbell replied that though he likes to score, it is also important to create opportunities which enable others to score and stressed that he is willing to wait for his turn.
"I am a striker and I like to score but sometimes you have to create opportunities for your partner to score.
"I will remain patient and goals will come.”
