Juventus are eyeing a deal which could be worth up to €7m to sign Aleksandar Kolarov from Manchester City.

Kolarov remains a popular figure in Serie A due to his successful stint with Lazio before transferring to Manchester City in 2010.

He has since slipped down the first choice left-back pecking order at the Citizens and is open to returning to Italy, with regular football uppermost in his mind.

And Juventus are interested in the Serbian international.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, Juventus want to take Kolarov on a season-long loan for a fee of €1.5m.

The Bianconeri could then pay a further €5.5m to make the switch a permanent one at the end of the season.

Juventus face competition for Kolarov’s signature from fellow Italian side Inter however.

The 27-year-old’s contract with Manchester City runs until 2015.
