Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda has at last ended speculation over his club future by signing for Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv on a five-year contract.

The 23-year-old had expressed a desire to leave France earlier this summer, but was keen on a move to either England or Germany.

Montpellier president Louis Nicollin had also revealed that he was sitting on five potential offers, with an expected sale price of "€14m to €15m".

AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray and Aston Villa were understood to be the interested parties, but the versatile midfielder has now opted to continue his career in the Ukraine.

Dynamo have not revealed a transfer fee, but Belhanda has already linked up with his new team-mates at the NSK Olimpisky.

A statement on Dynamo’s official site read: "The 23-year-old Moroccan… Younes Belhanda has signed a five-year contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv. At Dynamo his squad number will be 90."

Belhanda’s displays for Montpellier saw him score 10 goals in 30 Ligue 1 games last season, but it was in 2011/12 that he shone much brighter.

His 12 goals in 28 games were vital to Montpellier’s title-winning cause, before also turning out for Morocco in the African Cup of Nations, playing three times and also scoring a goal.
