FC Basel defender Aleksandar Dragovic admits moving to Inter Milan would be a dream come true for him, as a proposed move to Serie A gathers pace.
Basel president Bernard Heusler has already revealed that discussions have been ongoing with Inter over a transfer for the 22-year-old centre-back, who was also linked with moves to Manchester United and Everton.
Dragovic has spent two-and-a-half years at Basel since moving from Austria Vienna in January 2011, and has made substantial progress with 111 appearances in all competitions.
His contract with the Swiss champions runs until 2015, but he told Austrian television station Laola 1: "Inter are a big team with a long history. It is a dream for any player to go to Inter, and I’m no different.

"Right now I am thinking only about getting in shape for the season. Everything else will be taken care of by the club, but I must admit that I will be happy if the change goes ahead."
Last season saw Dragovic notch 32 games for his club, as they clinched their fourth-straight league title by a three-point margin over Grasshopper Club Zurich.
He was also instrumental in helping Basel reach the semi-finals of the Europa League – playing 13 times – as the club exited at the hands of Chelsea following a 5-2 aggregate defeat.
