Veteran midfielder Massimo Ambrosini is close to joining Fiorentina, his agent has revealed.
Ambrosini ended an 18-year association with AC Milan this summer but, despite being 36 years old, wants to continue his career and looks set to do so with La Viola.
Indeed, Ambrosini’s agent expects the deal to be able to be agreed soon.
"Ambrosini is back in Italy next week and I think we can close the deal then", Moreno Roggi explained to Lady Radio.

Ambrosini had also been linked with English Premier League outfit West Ham and a move to the MLS this summer, but is poised to continue in Serie A.
