Borussia Monchengladbach are growing tired of speculation linking goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen with a switch to Barcelona, the club’s sporting director has explained.

Ter Stegen is regularly mentioned as a potential successor to Victor Valdes at the Camp Nou and the Blaugrana are believed to be pondering a swoop for the 21-year-old.

The transfer chatter is beginning to grate on Gladbach though, who want it to stop.

"He is playing for us next season", said Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl confidently to Kicker.
