Arsenal have confirmed that they have reached agreements with three young academy players, and the trio have signed fresh contracts with the club.
While defender Zachari Fagan and midfielder Anthony Jeffrey have signed their first professional contracts with the Gunners, 19-year-old striker Zak Ansah has penned a new deal.
Fagan, 18, has been with the North London side since the age of 10. The London-born centre-back made a total of 19 appearances for the club’s Under-18 side last season and also featured once for the Under-21s.
Jeffrey, 18, was a regular for the club’s Under-18 side and NextGen sides last season. He also made his mark in the FA Youth Cup, as he notched up two goals out of three games.

Meanwhile, Ansah, another product of the club’s Hale End Academy, played regularly with Arsenal Under-21s last season. He signed his first professional contract with the club in May 2011, and scored in the NextGen Series in his side’s 4-2 win over Athletic Bilbao last December.
