Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he “really” misses English football, but insists he is also happy in the Spanish league currently.
The former Manchester United star has been heavily linked with a return to the English giants this summer, and it has even been claimed that an informal meeting is on the cards.
Ronaldo spent six years at Old Trafford, and won plaudits for his displays with the club during that period. He notched up 196 Premier League appearances with the Red Devils, picking up 84 goals and 47 assists.
The player switched to the Spanish giants in the summer of 2009 for a staggering fee of £80m. Ronaldo continued his sensational form in La Liga, where he has clocked up 146 goals out of 135 appearances.
