Barcelona defensive rock Carles Puyol has insisted that there will not be a problem if Neymar and Lionel Messi are deployed together.
Dutch legend Johan Cruyff has explained that the pairing of the two could turn out to be a risky one, adding that there are many aspects that can create friction between them.
However, Puyol, 35, feels that the two will make the club stronger, and also help each other develop as players in the process.
“It will not be a problem”, Puyol told Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo.

“On the contrary, they will make us stronger and those two will make each other better, because if you surround yourself with the best, you grow as a player.”
Neymar signed a five-year deal with the Catalan giants this summer. He was presented at the Camp Nou last month, and his termination clause was set at a staggering €190m.
The Barcelona skipper also explained that the addition of the 21-year-old is a very good move, and has stated that the club will help him adapt as fast as possible to La Liga.
“You have to see how he will adapt, but for me he is very good. There are a few like him”, Puyol said.
“From what I see, I say he is eager and very excited. I’ve checked, I have analysed, I played against him and there is not a player like him.
“We will also help him.”
Neymar won the Golden Ball in the recently concluded Confederations Cup with Brazil, and also won his first major trophy with the senior national side, as the Selecao recorded a victory against heavyweights Spain in the final.
