Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven have tentatively blocked the move of Chelsea centre-back Jeffrey Bruma to the Philips Stadion pending the results of additional medical exams to be carried out on the player.

PSV recently confirmed that they had agreed a deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit for Bruma, with the defender supposedly set to formally make his transfer to Holland after passing a medical



But has been revealed that the Dutch side want to subject Bruma to further tests to clear out any potential problems after initial results proved doubtful.

"Jeffrey Bruma is not yet signed", PSV announced in a statement, via Voetbal Primeur.

"After the medical exam, the staff decided to do additional tests in the interest of both the player and the club, which will be dome with utmost care.

"PSV hope to welcome Bruma on the pitch as soon as possible", the Dutch outfit concluded.

The 21-year-old centre-back spent the last two season on loan at Bundesliga club Hamburg, making a total 42 appearances for Die Rothosen during his time there.
