Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed he is looking to add at least one attacking player and one defender to his squad over the summer, though may have to ship out some stars to accommodate them.
Rodgers has been an early mover in the summer transfer market so far, adding forwards Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas, defender Kolo Toure and goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
But the former Watford manager has not finished yet and is already thinking about further additions.
"I still think another attacking, creative player, and depending on what goes out of the club – because naturally there might be one or two players who need to go out and play more – then we’ll need to fill those areas that have been vacated", he explained to his club’s official site.

"Certainly another attacking player will really benefit us, and probably another defender.
"We’ll see how it develops over the course of the next few months."
Liverpool have been firmly in the race for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan, although that deal looks to have hit a brick wall and the jury is out on whether the Armenian will land at Anfield, despite his desire to do so.
And any departure of Luis Suarez from Merseyside would undoubtedly call for Rodgers to spend big to replace the Uruguayan talisman.
