Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has hinted at his confusion in the revolving-door policy his club appear to have adopted over the years when it comes to employing managers, but believes he can only support whoever is put in the hot-seat.

During his time with the Stamford Bridge outfit, Cech has been through nine different managers, including caretakers, with notable names like newly-appointed Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti and now Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas among that list.

And while Cech is certain every manager that comes in with the club can receive full support from the dressing room, the goalkeeper has admitted it can be intriguing to see them leave just shortly after they arrived.

"Each incoming coach has their own ideas as they are signed on a long-term contract, hoping they can work here forever", Cech told Football UA.

"Every year, I sit here and say to myself, ‘This is a great manager with great experience, one of the top coaches in the world, we all hope that it will work here for years’.

"Then everything is turned upside down, and after two years I have to say the same words [of someone else]. That’s the way football is now", Cech further explained.

But with Mourinho’s arrival, Cech is hoping Chelsea can now achieve the stability they have long been searching for.

"Everything is easier. [Mourinho] will see that we have a good team with good players and excellent working conditions", Cech concluded.
