Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma’s move to PSV Eindhoven could be falling apart after it was discovered the player had a heart condition that caused him to fail his medical, according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf.
Bruma had been undergoing extra tests, as revealed yesterday by PSV, but the move from Stamford Bridge to Holland was expected to sail through.
However, it appears Bruma has a heart condition, understood to be common amongst sportspersons, which is threatening to harm the transfer.
When announcing the additional tests yesterday, PSV had remained hopeful of "welcoming Bruma on the pitch as soon as possible".

It remains to be seen if the Dutch giants will still stay true to their word, and engineer the move despite today’s news.
Bruma had spent the last two seasons on loan at Hamburg and had also expressed a desire, in early last year, to not return to Chelsea.
PSV’s interest had added further incentive for Bruma, whose deal with the club was agreed to in principle last week, on the same day as that of Florian Jozefzoon from RKC Waalwijk.
