Marko Marin is hoping his one-year loan at Sevilla can do more than just yield goals, with the winger keen to start aiming for higher roles within club football.

Marin has been sent out on loan to Spain by parent club Chelsea, where injury and competition had limited his first-team game time.

His transfer was made official at a presentation today, which followed a successful medical examination.

Marin has the opportunity to experience Europa League football with Sevilla, who gained a qualifying spot thanks to bans imposed on Malaga and Rayo Vallecano.
