Paris Saint-Germain are moving swiftly to win the race for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.
The French giants have sent sporting director Leonardo to Italy, according to Sky Italia, and he is armed with an offer which will trigger Cavani’s €63m release clause.
PSG are believed to have already reached an agreement on personal terms with Cavani, who will earn €8m per year in the French capital.
A transfer now appears to be moving towards a conclusion, in what would be a coup for PSG and a sign of their continued financial strength.
