Portugal skipper and talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has wished French giants Monaco the best for the future, adding that he is not ruling out joining the club at some point.

The forward also added that he is happy with Real Madrid for now though.

Ronaldo poured praise on the principality outfit, who have spent big this summer in capturing the likes of Colombian hot-shot Radamel Falcao, as well as trio James Rodriguez, Joao Moutinho and former Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho.

The seven-time Ligue 1 winners clinched promotion to the French top flight after finishing as the leaders in Ligue 2 last season.
