Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has explained that he is getting frustrated over the issues cropping up in the negotiations with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem over the transfer of highly-rated striker Wilfried Bony.
While the Ivorian had looked poised to join the Welsh side this summer, with the player also revealing his admiration for the club as the “ideal” one for him, the negotiations seem to have hit a roadblock. Now the chairman of the Swans is unsure about the possibility of signing the player.
“It will be very difficult, and we are gradually becoming more frustrated”, Jenkins told Dutch daily De Telegraaf.
“In the near future, we need a clarification. If this fails with Bony, then we have to move on to plan B.”

Bony, 24, won plaudits over his displays with the Eredivisie side last season, scoring 31 times out of 30 appearances in the Dutch top flight, as Vitesse finished fourth in the league.
In the process, the player also attracted interest from a lot of clubs – one of them being Michael Laudrup’s side.
Another player thrown into the mix by the chairman is FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli. Jenkins has revealed that the 23-year-old Belgian is one of the many options the club are working towards this summer.
However, they are turning the attention towards the other options at the moment, as the player wants to wait before making his mind up on his future.
“The player would like to wait, and so we have turned our attention to other players", said Jenkins.
Chadli has a contract with his club until next summer, whereas Bony is under contract until 2015.
