Nicklas Bendtner is edging closer towards joining La Liga outfit Malaga, but is struggling to agree personal terms with the Spanish club.
New Malaga coach Bernd Schuster is keen to snap up Bendtner from Arsenal, where he is surplus to requirements under boss Arsene Wenger, while the Dane himself is also desperate to leave.
Eintracht Frankfurt have been trying to sign Bendtner, but recently bemoaned the player’s salary at Arsenal, with the striker needing to take at least an £800,000 per year pay cut to join the German side.
And a move to Malaga is a likely option – if an agreement can be reached.

According to Spanish daily AS, Bendtner was in Malaga on Friday to hold talks.
But there is still a difference between the wages the striker wants and those on offer at the Spanish side.
Malaga are ready to pay Arsenal £2.5m should they reach agreement with Bendtner.
