Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has hinted that Juan Camilo Zuniga will not be leaving the Serie A outfit in the transfer window.

The 27-year-old defender has been linked with a move to reigning Serie A champions Juventus.

The Colombian international’s contract at the Stadio San Paolo is due to expire next year, but De Laurentiis has insisted that Zuniga is not heading for the exit door.

De Laurentiis posted on his Twitter account: "Zuniga is a Napoli player. He has given so much to the team and will continue to do so."

Zuniga signed for Napoli in 2009 from Siena and has appeared in 112 league matches for Partenopei, with four goals to his name.

He has also been capped 46 times by Colombia.

His present employers Napoli, who finished second in the league last term, have already lost their star striker Edinson Cavani to big spending French club Paris Saint-Germain.

However, new manager Rafael Benitez has acquired the services of Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon from Real Madrid and is also close to signing Gonzalo Higuain from the same club.
