Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has revealed that he tries to help the young players who break into his side’s senior squad, as he can relate to them.
The 23-year-old is also a product of the Gunners’ youth system and made his senior debut for the club in their League Cup clash against West Bromwich Albion in September 2009.
But the custodian was sent out on loan to Brentford for the latter half of the 2009/10 campaign.
However, he returned to Arsenal at the start of the next season and is now the Emirates Stadium outfit’s number one choice between the sticks.

And Szczesny stated that he always intends to help and welcome youngsters into the senior side.
“I feel that when young players come into the first team they can look up to me because I have gone through their journey”, he told Arsenal’s official site.
“I have come through the youth team, played in the reserves and had loan spells.
“I always try to welcome them into the first team, give them advice and keep their feet on the ground, which is very important.”
The Poland international, who has more than 120 appearances for Arsenal to his name, explained that he is proud to have played more than 100 games for the club.
“I remember my debut for Arsenal, it went very quickly and I am very proud to have played over 100 games for the club now”, he added.
