Alex Song has credited Arsenal with providing him with the opportunity to play for Barcelona and revealed he still looks out for the Gunners' results.
The tough-tackling Cameroonian midfielder swapped Arsenal for Barcelona last year and, despite a difficult introduction to life at the Camp Nou, is enjoying playing with some of the biggest names in world football.
And Song is thankful of how his time at Arsenal prepared him to head to the Spanish champions.
"I was very happy to be at Arsenal", he told the BBC.

"I spent seven years there and if I'm here, it's because Arsenal gave me the opportunity.
"I always look [for] Arsenal because I was there for seven years, I always watch them playing."
Song also brushed off chatter that he could imminently leave Barcelona, with lack of regular playing time a concern for the midfielder.
"I'm very happy here", he said.
"I have four years on my contract, but now we don't know what will happen in four years' time."
