Reading defender Daniel Carrico is eyeing a permanent stay at Spanish La Liga side Sevilla, his agent has revealed.
The Portuguese centre-back joined Reading earlier this year but was unable to help the Royals avoid relegation from the Premier League to the Championship.
He was subsequently spared the trouble of toiling in England's second tier and sent to Sevilla on a season-long loan.
And the 25-year-old is enjoying life at Los Rojiblancos.

"Daniel is very happy to be in Seville. The only idea is to stay and we have transmitted this to [sporting director] Monchi on more than one occasion", Carrico's agent Carlos Goncalves told ABC de Sevilla.
"The purchase option agreed with Sevilla brings up two possibilities, which take take effect in December, with a number of benefits, or in June.
"But that is something that the clubs must agree. For now we have conveyed our thoughts. There will be no problem.
"Again, Daniel's desire, and that of everyone, is for him to continue at Sevilla. He won't return to Reading."
