Tottenham Hotspur skipper Michael Dawson has paid tribute to the club's fans for sticking with the team as they were trounced 6-0 by Manchester City yesterday.
Spurs were dismantled at the Etihad Stadium by the Citizens, who were 5-0 in front by the 55th minute in the Premier League clash.
Dawson was quick to admit that the side are "devastated" by the defeat, and also thanked the club's fans for their support.
"Words don't say a lot after you lose 6-0, everyone's devastated", he said via his club's feed.

"The fans travelled in their thousands again and it's a hard day.
"A big thank you [to the fans], they were still there at the end.
"After losing like we did they could quite easily have left and gone home and you wouldn't have blamed them.
"But they stayed and fair play to them."
Tottenham will now try to bounce back in the Europa League on Thursday when they face Norwegian outfit Tromso.
