Basel coach Murat Yakin feels that Chelsea will be aiming to win the Champions League match between the two clubs this evening, as they look to top the group.
The Swiss champions beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the opening game of the group, but have since suffered mixed results and find themselves sitting third with five points.
Chelsea top the group with nine points while Schalke are second on six and Steaua Bucharest sit bottom on two.
Were Chelsea to win and Schalke to beat Steaua, Basel would go out. A draw for Chelsea would see them qualify, with a win set to confirm them as group winners.

Yakin does not expect Chelsea to play a defensive game and settle for the draw though, with the Basel coach fully expecting Jose Mourinho's men to push to win the match and secure top spot before their final meeting of the group stage, with Steaua.
"We are prepared for the match and are looking forward to it. We want to play in the Champions League after the winter break and we also want our first win [of the group] at home", Yakin explained to a press conference.
"For Chelsea a draw would be enough, but the big clubs usually want to finish first in the group to have a better position for the [Round of 16] draw.
"We want to do all possible to make a final against Schalke but first we need to give our fans a good game and win our first game at home."
