Napoli coach Rafael Benitez is considering the possibility of making a move in January for Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia.
Benitez is searching for another midfielder to bolster his engine room options and has been keen on Lyon schemer Maxime Gonalons.
However, the Frenchman has admitted that he is unlikely to leave the Stade Gerland before the end of the season, something which has caused Benitez to look elsewhere.
According to Italian daily Tuttosport, Manchester City midfielder Garcia has fallen onto Napoli's radar and is being considered as a possible addition.

The 26-year-old joined the Citizens in 2012, signed by the club's former manager Roberto Mancini from Benfica.
He has struggled to make his mark at the Etihad Stadium however, starting just five Premier League games under Manuel Pellegrini so far this season.
Garcia's contract at Manchester City runs until 2017.
