Young Spanish winger Alvaro Vadillo has been linked with English Premier League leaders Arsenal, with the Gunners mooted as plotting a January transfer window raid for a player dubbed the "new Cristiano Ronaldo" in some quarters.
According to Portuguese sports daily O Jogo, the Gunners have taken a genuine liking to the 19-year-old, who currently plies his trade in La Liga for Real Betis.
Vadillo has turned heads in Spanish football and is considered one of the country's brightest prospects, turning out ten times in La Liga for Real Betis so far this season.
Vadillo's only goal this term has come in European competition however, with the Spaniard striking in the Europa League against Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes.
