Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed striker Samuel Eto'o will be out for "two weeks" with a grade-one muscular injury.
Eto'o was substituted in Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Basel in the Champions League – after falling awkwardly – and Mourinho had already revealed the problem was muscular.
The Chelsea boss today described the extent of the injury and the Cameroonian is expected to be out until the middle of December.
"The information I have is that it's a grade one muscular injury, which we think means two weeks," Mourinho told a press conference.

"I'm throwing a number into the air but when I say two weeks it doesn't mean a month. It could be 10, 15, 17 days; basically around two weeks."
Mourinho also admitted David Luiz had not recovered in time to make the weekend squad to face Southampton. The Brazilian missed the Basel game with a knee injury.
Mourinho said: "David trained today with the team for first time. But it was the first time, and, for me, it doesn't look like he is in a condition to be back for this weekend."
