Juventus are ready to become involved in the race to sign Basel winger Mohamed Salah, potentially setting up a January transfer window battle with Tottenham Hotspur for the 21-year-old.
Salah impressed hugely in Basel's run to the semi-finals of the Europa League last season and has picked up where he left off in the current campaign.
The Egypt international has shown his class in the Champions League especially, scoring against Chelsea in Basel's 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in September and then bagging the winner against the same opposition in a 1-0 victory last week.
Salah has been tipped to be the subject of a bid from Tottenham, who have been on the Basel man's tail. But Juventus are determined not to be left out in the cold.
