David Luiz could be set to push for a January move to Barcelona in order to play regularly ahead of the World Cup, according to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo.
The Brazil defender is struggling to command a regular starting spot at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho and was the subject of interest from Barcelona in the summer.
Defensive issues are now dominating the thinking at the Camp Nou following a run of two straight defeats, to Ajax and Athletic Bilbao.
