Fiorentina will resist any Tottenham Hotspur bid for Giuseppe Rossi in the January transfer window and feel in a strong position to keep the striker.

Tottenham have been linked with moving for the former Villarreal marksman due to their poor goalscoring record this season. And Rossi has been in red hot form for La Viola, finding the back of the net an impressive eleven times in just 13 Serie A games.

Such ruthlessness in front of goal may well be attractive to Tottenham, but according to Firenzeviola, La Viola are determined to keep hold of the striker.

And Fiorentina feel they are in a strong position to resist any approach from Spurs, as Rossi is keen on staying at the club and La Viola have no need to sell.
