Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that right-back Bacary Sagna is out of his side’s upcoming Premier League clash against Hull City tomorrow.

The French international picked up a hamstring injury in the Gunners’ 3-0 win over Cardiff City on Saturday and hence will play no part at the Emirates Stadium against the Tigers.

And Wenger confirmed that that youngster Carl Jenkinson is likely to slot into the right-back spot.

“From Saturday against Cardiff we will lose Sagna, who has a slight hamstring problem. He should be out for tomorrow's game”, the manager said at a press conference, via his club's official site.

“Jenkinson is likely to come back.”

Sagna, whose present contract with Arsenal runs until 2014, has made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners this term, scoring once and providing two assists.

It now remains to be seen whether the full-back returns to action in his side’s home Premier League clash against Everton at the weekend.
