Liverpool's scouts are beavering away behind the scenes searching for players suitable for the club, Reds assistant manager Colin Pascoe has insisted.

And Pascoe has explained that work identifying and scouting targets never really stops at Anfield.

"The scouts and everyone behind the scenes are looking at players, which players to bring into Liverpool Football Club", he said via LFC TV.

Liverpool have been linked with a number of players in the current window, with the most noise at present around a swoop for Basel's impressive Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah.
