Italian giants Roma are keeping close tabs on Newcastle defender Mathieu Debuchy ahead of a possible summer swoop for the 28-year-old.
Current Roma coach Rudi Garcia worked with the France international right-back at Lille and is a firm admirer of his abilities.

According to Italian daily Corriere della Serra, Garcia is keen to be reunited with Debuchy.
The tactician managed to scoop up another former Lille player last summer when Gervinho left Arsenal to join him in the Italian capital.

It remains to be seen whether Debuchy would be open to following suit and whether Newcastle would be willing to sell.
The Frenchman has featured regularly for the Magpies this term, turning out in 25 Premier League games.
He has also been mooted as a target for Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
