Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has taken a dim view of Holland coach Louis van Gaal reiterating his desire to work in England next season.

Van Gaal, who is standing down from his post as Holland coach after the forthcoming World Cup, is eyeing an adventure in England, admitting he wants to win the Premier League title to add to domestic titles won in Holland, Germany and Spain.

The former Bayern Munich boss has consistently been linked with taking over from Sherwood at Spurs, with the Englishman's position under intense scrutiny.

And Sherwood is not at all happy with Van Gaal's constant job talk, showing no sign of hiding his irritation.

"He has clearly decided for himself that he wants to work as a manager in England", the Tottenham boss was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.

"He has a nice CV and is a good manager. I'm sure he'll get his chance because he shouts loud enough."

Van Gaal has also been linked with taking over at Manchester United, where David Moyes has been under fire due to the Red Devils' struggles this term.
