Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has moved to dispel any uncertainty about his future as Gunners boss by insisting he expects to be in charge after his 1,010th game before too long.
Wenger takes charge of Arsenal for the 1,000th time when his side play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but his present contract at the club expires at the end of the season and despite continued noises over a stay there has been no extension announcement as yet.

"My commitment is full. I do not want to look somewhere else. I want to stay here. There shouldn't be any uncertainty at all.
"My desire is to stay", Wenger concluded.
And the Arsenal manager insists he does not want speculation over a new contract to take attention away from the club's current Premier League title push, with the Gunners' full focus needing to be on the business end of the campaign.
"It will be done soon, but I want now to focus on the end of the season", Wenger explained.
