Edinson Cavani's agent has rubbished speculation that Juventus have offered Paul Pogba plus €30m to sign his client from Paris Saint-Germain.

Cavani moved to PSG last summer from Napoli for a fee of €64.5m, but despite settling into life at the Parc des Princes and getting amongst the goals, he has continued to be linked with a big-money departure.

Such speculation at the business end of the season is not what the striker's agent Claudio Anellucci wants to see, the deal-maker telling Radio Mana: "We are in the decisive part of the season, the big clubs are fighting for prizes domestically and at European level.

"PSG and Cavani are part of the elite of football.

The agent is prepared though to put one particular rumour to bed, that of a €30m plus Pogba bid from Juventus.

"The chances of that happening is really less than zero", he said.

"Let's talk about serious things."
