Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood expressed his delight after his side came back from two goals down to beat Southampton 3-2 in the Premier League yesterday.
Jay Rodriguez and Adam Lallana put the Saints 2-0 up by the 28th minute at White Hart Lane before Christian Eriksen reduced the arrears for the hosts on the half-an-hour mark.

The Denmark international scored the equaliser just after the break and substitute Gylfi Sigurdsson fired home the winner in injury time to keep Spurs’ slim top-four chances intact.
And Sherwood, who reserved special praise for Eriksen and Sigurdsson, feels it is a “massive achievement” for his side to come out with the full three points after falling two goals behind early at home.

“I was gutted after 28 minutes and we conceded two poor goals, we know that”, the manager explained to his club’s official site.
“We needed to dig deep and try to find a way to win the game and I’m so proud of the lads that we managed to achieve that.
“We knew it was going to be tough and to trail 2-0 at home and come back to win 3-2 is a massive achievement.
“Christian gets himself in positions to score goals and possesses real quality. He affects the game, doesn’t just take part in it, even with that pass to Gylfi late on.
“Gylfi gave us a real spark and deserved his goal. It doesn’t just happen, he’s out there (working on) finishing with Les Ferdinand every day. That’s why he scores goals.
“It was a big win for us. We can now concentrate week to week on the Premier League and we’ll try to accumulate as many points as we can.”
Spurs, who are currently fifth in the Premier League with 56 points from 31 games, are next up against high-flying Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
