Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that he will not risk rushing Aaron Ramsey back into action too soon, ahead of his side’s clash Manchester City tomorrow.

The Welsh international, who has been sidelined with a thigh problem since Boxing Day, enjoyed a great first half of the season.

Ramsey was in the form of his life scoring 13 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for Gunners this term, in addition to providing seven assists.

And Wenger, who explained that the game against Manchester City will come too soon for the 23-year-old, also revealed that there are no fresh injury concerns for his side for their contest at the Emirates Stadium.

"Compared to Tuesday night, we have no new injuries and no-one coming back as well", the manager told his club’s official site.

"[Nacho] Monreal should be the first one back in training because he is just starting to run in the next few days.

"After him, Ramsey is progressing well, but we need to be patient for a few more weeks."

Arsenal, who are also without the likes of Jack Wilshere and club-record signing Mesut Ozil, are currently fourth in the Premier League table with 63 points from 31 games.
