Leeds United boss Brian McDermott has urged his side to come out with a positive result against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
The Peacocks, who succumbed to their third straight Championship loss following their 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night, are currently 15th in the league standings with 47 points from 39 games.

However, McDermott wants Leeds to pick up as many points as possible from their remaining seven fixtures.
The manager, who admitted that he was disappointed with his side’s loss to relegation-battlers Charlton, further called for togetherness during the final run-in of the season.

“We’re disappointed and upset we didn’t win on Tuesday”, McDermott told his club’s official site.
“There are 21 points left to play for, we have 47, and we have to get as many as we can. We need a result. We have to work through this because it’s a great, great club.
“We have to get ready for Wigan now and we have to get a result. I’m not giving up on this and the players won’t either. Everyone has to be in it together.”
Leeds, who will travel to the DW Stadium at the weekend, defeated Wigan 2-0 in the corresponding fixture at Elland Road in December with Ross McCormack scoring both goals.
