AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien is expected to be out for about two weeks after suffering a thigh injury.
The former Chelsea player, who replaced an injured Sulley Muntari just before half-time during the match against Chievo last weekend, is himself set to be out of action for the Rossoneri.

Joining Milan in January from Chelsea, the Ghana international has featured in six league matches for the team with three of his appearances coming as a substitute.
The player is now expected to undergo further tests in ten days' time.

"The player will undergo further tests in ten days' time."
The 2010/11 domestic league winners are currently placed 11th in Serie A with 42 points in 31 matches, and their European qualification chances for next term now look slim.
