Arsenal head into their Premier League clash against Everton on Sunday with more pressure on their shoulders than the Toffees, believes Roberto Martinez.

The Gunners currently sit in the fourth and final Champions League qualification spot in the Premier League, with Everton just four points behind with a game in hand.

If Martinez's men can defeat Arsene Wenger's side on Sunday, they could pull ahead of Arsenal by winning their game in hand.

And Martinez knows there is more pressure on Wenger's team, even if he is sure that they are able to cope with it.

"I think they are used to it [more pressure]", he told a press conference.

"I don't see that as something different or something that is going to affect their season.

"Over the seasons they have always found a way [to finish in the top four].

"You're talking about an experienced team with full internationals."

And despite believing the clash will not decide a top four spot, Martinez does feel it is crucial to the mentality around Goodison Park.

"It could have a huge bearing because internally there is nothing better than carrying on with a winning streak.

"We're fighting with a direct rival who we admire and respect. They've been in this situation every single season and have found a way to get into the top four position."
