Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on Liverpool's startling progress this season, with their eyes fixed on one particular piece of the Reds' puzzle.
According to Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito, Los Blancos are becoming firm fans of Philippe Coutinho and keeping the midfielder firmly in mind for a future bid.

Real Madrid know all about Coutinho from a loan spell the player enjoyed at La Liga outfit Espanyol in 2012, which was a roaring success.
Liverpool picked up the 21-year-old from Inter a year later and he has wasted no time in settling into life in the Premier League.

The Brazilian, who is hoping to feature in his country's national squad at this summer's World Cup, has made 27 appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League so far this season, scoring four goals and providing six assists.
His contract at Anfield runs until 2018.
