Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini insists his side are not looking at other team's results, after they moved up to second in the Premier League by beating Southampton 4-1.

The Citizens brushed aside the Saints at the Etihad Stadium and now boast 70 points from 31 games, just one point behind league leaders Liverpool, a side on who they also boast a game in hand. And in the process they also moved past Chelsea, into second.

Pellegrini is delighted and believes his side have started to hit top gear at just the right time, with the business-end of the season now firmly upon the Premier League.

"The four teams have the same pressure until the end of the season – they all want to win the title", he told his club's site.
