Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has addressed speculation that Loic Remy was at the Emirates Stadium today ahead of a potential move to the club from QPR.

Remy was in the crowd watching on as Wenger's men beat West Brom 1-0 today, ending their home Premier League campaign with a win and the promise of Champions League football next term.

The French striker, who is under contract to QPR but has been on loan at Newcastle, has been mooted as an Arsenal target.

But Wenger played it cool post-match, claiming he did not know Remy was in the crowd.

"Honestly I have just been informed that Loic Remy was here, I didn't know", he said via his club's site.

"So don't see any sign of us signing Loic Remy in that.

"I hope he has paid for his ticket! No [I didn’t invite him], that's why I tell you I have not invited him."
